I sincerely congratulate you on the great and bright holiday — the Nativity of Christ — and the coming New Year 2026!
On this blessed night, the Savior was born to bring love, mercy, and hope into the world. Today, when Ukraine is going through severe trials of war, we more than ever need faith in God, kindness toward one another, and God’s protection over every family and over our state.
May the newborn Christ enter your homes with peace and blessing.
May the Lord protect you at every step,
grant you health, strength, wisdom, and endurance,
and fill your hearts with light, love, and hope.
I believe that with God’s help the day will come
when Ukrainian families will be reunited,
when our men, women, and all defenders return home alive and unharmed,
when children once again embrace their parents, and parents embrace their children in warm family hugs.
May this become the greatest Christmas miracle for Ukraine.
I sincerely thank everyone who is holding our state today:
our warriors — for their courage and sacrifice,
medics — for the lives they save,
volunteers — for their tireless hearts,
and every resident of Zhytomyr region — for your work, resilience, and unity.
This is where our strength lies.
May 2026, by God’s grace, become a year of renewal, peace, and good changes,
a year that brings us closer to Ukraine’s just Victory
and gives every family calm and confidence in tomorrow.
