WHEN PEOPLE HURT — WE ARE THERE: FOR MORE THAN 9 YEARS THE CHARITABLE FOUNDATION “ONUFRENKO CHILDREN” HAS BEEN HELPING THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST
Today is a beautiful sunny day.
And at the charitable foundation “Onufrienko Children” — there is once again a lot of work.
Every day people come to us.
Elderly people who need support.
Mothers with children who sometimes simply have no one else to turn to.
Children who need attention, warmth, and care.
Today, new internally displaced persons reached out to us again.
People who were forced to leave their homes, their lives, their memories.
It is very painful to see when people of a respectable age come to you — people who have already gone through so much in their lives, yet are forced to start everything again, beginning with small help, support, and a kind word.
Unfortunately, the situation in our country is not easy.
But it is exactly at moments like these that we must remember the most important thing — we must support one another.
And do you know what warms my heart the most?
The fact that people come to me.
They come to the “Onufrienko Children” Charitable Foundation.
And here they feel not just like visitors,
but like part of a big family.
This is exactly why we work.
This is exactly why our foundation exists.
Because help is not only about things or food.
Help is about humanity, support, and the belief that together we are stronger.
