I sincerely congratulate you on *Constitution Day of Ukraine*!
June 28 is the day when we honor the Basic Law of our state—the document that establishes the fundamental rights and freedoms of every individual and defines the principles of democracy, the rule of law, and the sovereignty of Ukraine.
The Constitution is not merely the supreme legal act of our country. It is a social contract between the state and its citizens, embodying the values of freedom, human dignity, justice, and responsibility. It is upon these principles that a strong, independent, and European Ukraine is built.
Today, in the midst of a brutal war, the significance of our Constitution has become even deeper. Every day, the Ukrainian people demonstrate to the world that freedom, independence, and the right to live on our own land are values worth defending at any cost. Our servicemen and servicewomen, volunteers, medical professionals, rescuers, critical infrastructure workers, and every citizen strengthen the constitutional foundations of our nation through their dedication, resilience, and hard work.
May the Constitution of Ukraine continue to serve as the solid foundation for the development of a democratic state governed by the rule of law. May every Ukrainian feel protected in their rights, confident in the future, and proud of their homeland.
