🌞 *Daytime Temporary Recreation Program “Sonechko”* 🌞
People often ask me, *“Who are your children?”*
I always answer, *“They are the children of our Ukraine. They are all my children. We are one big, united family.”* 💙💛
That is exactly what our *Daytime Temporary Recreation Program “Sonechko”*, organized by the *Onufriienko Children Charitable Foundation*, is all about.
Today was filled with sincere smiles, children’s laughter, and unforgettable moments. Our children created a big, bright *“Sun”*, drew pictures, made crafts, played games, jumped on the trampolines, and had a wonderful time together.
🍎 For breakfast, they enjoyed delicious apple strudels with tea.
🍲 For lunch, they had traditional Ukrainian borscht with chicken, oven-baked chicken patties topped with cheese, boiled vermicelli with butter, a fresh vegetable salad with cabbage, tomatoes, and cucumbers, and homemade fruit compote made from cherries, cherry plums, blackcurrants, apples, and strawberries.
🍑 For dinner, they enjoyed peaches, apples, tea, and cookies.
Our children are incredible! ❤️
Our educators are amazing! ❤️
Special thanks to the talented *Svitlana Hryhorivna*, whose gifted hands are creating a true masterpiece by painting our shelter. Every painting she creates brings joy, warmth, and hope to our children.
And, of course, my heartfelt thanks go to our entire team. Thanks to people who work every day with love, care, and dedication, *“Sonechko”* has become a place where children are always happy to return.
