🌞 *The third session of the “Sonechko” Day Camp has officially begun!* 🌞
Today, we were delighted to open the *third session* of the *“Sonechko” Day Camp*, founded by the *Onufriienko Children Charitable Foundation*. ❤️
Today we welcomed children from the *Raihorodok Community*, including the villages of *Ozadivka, Romanivka, and Hardyshivka*. From the very first moments, they filled our camp with smiles and positive energy. They are incredibly kind, polite, well-mannered, and wonderful children of different ages. My sincere gratitude goes to their parents for raising such amazing kids. You truly have every reason to be proud of them! 💙💛
As always, our favorite entertainers from Zhytomyr joined us — *Patron the Dog* and *Goose Hugger*, bringing endless laughter, hugs, and unforgettable moments of joy.
Throughout the day, the children enjoyed arts and crafts, creating a beautiful collaborative project. Each child cut out their own handprint and placed it around our big sun, symbolizing friendship, unity, and warmth. 🌞🖐️
The children also drew pictures, played games, jumped on the trampolines, played volleyball, swam in the pools after lunch, relaxed in the sunshine, and enjoyed every moment of this beautiful summer day. Their laughter and happy faces made the day truly unforgettable.
🍽️ *Today’s menu:*
🌿 *Breakfast:* Apple strudel and tea.
🍲 *Lunch:* Traditional Ukrainian red borscht with chicken, boiled vermicelli, baked chicken meatballs topped with cheese, fresh vegetable salad (cabbage, tomatoes, and cucumbers), and homemade berry compote.
🍌 *Afternoon snack:* Bananas, melon, and tea.
The children are happy, excited, and have already started making new friends. Seeing their smiles fills my heart with happiness. This session has welcomed many children, which brings great responsibility, but it is also an incredible blessing.
May this third session be filled with joy, kindness, new friendships, unforgettable memories, and endless children’s laughter. Thank God for giving us the opportunity to provide children with a happy summer, even during these difficult times for Ukraine. 🙏💙💛
